Diana Clark moved to Charlottesville in 1990 with her husband Barry, a native of Albemarle County. They have a daughter and son, Riley and Hayden. Diana is an active member of both her church and the Lake Monticello Junior Woman's Club.

Additionally, her educational background includes a degree in business administration, magna cum laude, and a certificate in website design. Her business background includes marketing, web design and cost accounting.
